Dokimion

This blog is for the distinct purpose of testing.  That is the meaning, in Greek, of the title of this blog.  Of course it is spelled in English for ease of annunciation.  Maybe.

Testing is something that happens in our everyday lives.  When I was in Elementary School, High School, and later in Boyce Bible School I hated tests.  I still dislike them, but I can certainly see their benefits for learning and for life.  It is for that reason that I have decided to take this blog and write concerning our trials, and begin in First Peter, because he wrote that letter to encourage the early Christian Church during their persecution under Nero.

It is my personal belief that the Christians of the United States will be entering another persecution, if in fact we have not already, due to the move of the sodomites, and their agenda to call our beliefs “Hate speech”.  The Church – the True Church – has always blossomed, and grew during times of trial.  Let’s see what God can do with His Church.
